How we verify

Before a business appears on Havana Unique, it goes through a verification by our local team. Here's what we do.

1. We confirm the business. We check that it really exists and that its details —location, contact and category— are correct.
2. Our local team checks it. Our people in Cuba know or visit the place to confirm it is what it claims to be.
3. We look after quality. We make sure it meets basic standards of quality, hygiene and good treatment of travelers.
4. We publish with a seal. If everything checks out, the business is published with the “Verified” seal, and we keep an eye on the reviews.

The “Verified” seal means we vouch for that place. If something isn't right during your visit, write to us and we'll look into it.
